BCR ORIGINAL CONCENTRATED ULTRASONIC CLEANING SOLUTION 1 GALLON by OAKITE
Our BCR (Buffing Compound Remover) ORIGINAL Concentrated Ultrasonic Solution is specifically formulated by Oakite for cleaning jewelry in ultrasonic bath and does not require the use of Ammonia to achieve optimal cleaning.
It is used by most jewelry manufacturer and many retail jewelers. All you need is to try it once to convince yourself of superior cleaning characteristics of our BCR.
Oakite BCR is a non-viscous liquid alkaline material developed especially for the removal of buffing compounds such
as tripoli, rouge, "white diamond," lime, etc. by tank immersion or ultrasonically. It is formulated with special wetting
agents, excellent rinsing agents plus penetrating and emulsifying properties to make cleaning quick and complete.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Oakite BCR is used between 3% and 20% by volume in tank immersion operations at temperatures up to 60°C
(140°F). Exact concentration will depend upon extent of buffing compound build-up and age.
For ultrasonic application, Oakite BCR is used at the same working concentrations and temperatures. Set transducer
at optimum frequency and de-gas thoroughly. When uniform cavitation is achieved, solution is ready for use. Expose
surfaces from 15 to 90 seconds, depending on soil and equipment. Follow with a warm spray rinse.
Note: Temperature should not exceed 60°C (140°F).
We generally recommend a ratio of 7 parts of tap water to 1 part of BCR, but higher concentration is possible when stronger cleaning action is desired.
For best results we recommend using BCR in our EUMAX Ultrasonic Cleaners followed by steam cleaning.
