These special pliers have unique advantages over the standard type of pliers. The chain (snipe) nose pliers have tapered tips and operate with a parallel compound action which brings the jaws together uniformly producing an even grip without marking the work-piece.The compound-action handles are coupled to jaws that remain parallel throughout their range of movement. This ensures a secure grip on the article being held, even when working with difficult to hold items such as round beads. Provides a vise-like grip for all types of projects. Handles are nickel-plated.
